10 on 10 – May

Welcome to another round of 10 on 10.  The day I captured was by far one of the best days I’ve had in a long time.  It was spent chasing around an”American icon” on a quad with my camera (my first time on one!), sharing a bottle of Caymus with great friends, letting the kids get as dirty as they wanted, and eating aaaahhhh-mazing grilled steaks from Open Space Meats (stay tuned…their family picture on the site will be getting updated shortly!).

1. Coffee and Sunday ads.

2. Culling from the wedding the night before.

3. Grocery list- baby food, targets, bullets.  Don’t judge.

4. My ride.

5. Channeling my inner Pioneer Woman.

6. Dinner.

7. My turn.

8. How many men does it take…?

9. Our view during dinner.

10. S’mores!

Now check out Heather Allison Photography | Seattle photographer, http://heatherballisonphotography.com/blog/13494301/, and continue with our circle.  Leave us a little lovey dovey…we love blog comments! :)

Rock the Dress

Back in November I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of some good friends of mine and Trevor.  Aaron and Heather are truly one of those couples that just…fit.  They compliment each other so well.  Their outdoor wedding was beautiful and so perfect, despite the rain that started as soon as they started their vows. The rain stayed pretty light for the ceremony and then started pouring on us so we weren’t able to get more than a handful of images of them.  To make up for it, a few weeks ago we got up with the sun and Rocked the Dress!  We had such a blast doing it and now we’re all happy they have some gorgeous wedding images.  Here are some of my favorite images from our session.

10 on 10 – February

Eeek!!!  My very first blog post!!!  Can you feel the excitement from all the exclamation points?!?!  The blog is fo-sho not done by any means but I had to get this post up, so don’t judge and critique until it’s done, ok??  Thanks.

This past fall I took a workshop through the Bloom Forum and made several friends who inspire me every single day with their amazing work.  A group of us have gotten together and started a challenge group called 10 on 10.  We will pick a day out of the month and document it in 10 images and then post it on the 10th of the month.  Fun, right?  You get a little glimpse into my super awesome days.  I wish I could say it’s going to be as entertaining as watching Housewives of Suburbia or something but take a peek anyway.

1. Getting ready.

2. Being motivated by one of the greats, Kathi Lipp, at MOPS.

3. Playtime.

4. Baking beer bread.

5. Chillaxin.

6. Afternoon pick-me-up.

7. Making Mongolian beef.

8. Dinnertime.

9. Laundry.

10. Nightcap.

Thanks for spending a day with me.  Now go see how Cate Waters (Cate Waters Photography | Central Indianapolis Photographer) spent her day.  Maybe she was a little more “Housewives-ish” and fun. :)
